Polypropylene felt is a chemical‑resistant filtration media used in pulse jet baghouse dust collectors. This material exhibits excellent chemical resistivity and holds up in applications with acids, alkalis, and hydrolysis. It is resistant to bacteria and mildew and chemical attacks. Designed with a smooth and uniform surface that is slicker than polyester; and its lower specific gravity allows the same fiber population to be achieved with less total weight for applications with an operating temperature of up to 93°C / 200°F.

High concentrations and temperatures may cause complete degradation. This media holds up to common organic solvents very well and can be operated to a maximum temperature of 126°C / 250°F.
