This material exhibits excellent chemical resistivity and holds up in applications with acids, alkalis, and hydrolysis. It is resistant to bacteria and mildew and chemical attacks. Designed with a smooth and uniform surface that is slicker than polyester; and its lower specific gravity allows the same fiber population to be achieved with less total weight for applications with an operating temperature of up to 93°C / 200°F.
